Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
“ orn to Worship” is Belinda’s answer when you ask her how she came into ministering in song and in the preached Word. The Bible tells us that we were made to worship HIM. “So my natural inclination is that my life should exemplify what my purpose is in life.....to worship HIM in spirit and in truth which are the characteristics of a true worshipper. In addition, my heart’s desire is that the people of God, experience worship in such a way that it becomes a lifestyle as well!”
Belinda grew up in Taylortown, NC, a small Piedmont community situated near Fayetteville, NC. Her early training in music ministry came under the tutelage of her mother and grandmother in their local church, Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Belinda served in the music department , teaching parts, directing the choir, and singing all over the county. Early on, Belinda knew that she was to bring the message of Jesus to the masses through song.
As a college student at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC, Belinda served as the director for the campus gospel choir as well as for several local church choirs. Belinda has been blessed to have appeared on Bobby Jones Gospel with local groups, opened for Shirley Caesar at Charlotte’s Ovens Auditorium and recorded on her first album project as part of the group, New Generation in 1991.
ater on in her ministry, after going through a trying and difficult divorce, the Lord led Belinda to University City Church to start her life over in ministry. It was there that Belinda first became exposed to Praise and Worship Music. Her relationship with the Lord grew in leaps and bounds during this time and the Lord used her mightily in leading worship. As a part of this local assembly, Belinda sang background for gospel artists: Crystal Aikin, Lucinda Moore, Lowell Pye and Dr. Judith McAllister.

She trained under the pastorate of Bishop Orrin and Medina Pullings and then under the pastorate of her current Pastors, Bishop Marcus and Lady Evelyn Strong. Simultaneously, Belinda began to work on recording her music under her publishing company, “The Worship Experience Ministries.” She has also taught and trained others in Praise and Worship, organized and facilitated Praise and Worship Conferences, and actively advised others on how to work through the spiritual aspects of becoming a true Worship Leader.
After receiving the word in 2013 that the year 2014 would be her year of Prophetic Fulfillment, the Lord was true to His word. Belinda preached her initial sermon March 30, 2014, The Worship Experience Ministries was launched again April, 2014 and she married her long time love, Gerard R. Colter, Sr. on July 11, 2014.
